Collision on hilltop road injures no one
A gravel country road three miles east of Glenwood last Friday night saw a collision between Richard Allen Hunt, 17, Glenwood, driving east, and Herman Roenfeldt, 47, Jewell, Iowa, traveling west. Estimated damage was 150 dollars to the Hunt car and 106 dollars to Roenfeldt’s vehicle. no injuries were reported to the sheriff.

An 18-year-old Glenwood youth was cited after a traffic stop when two squirrels a hawk a 12 gauge shotgun and lack of licenses were found in his car. He was fined 85 dollars or 24 days in jail with two younger companions turned over to juvenile authorities.
