The Fred Dickersbach sale of Dur og swine and Shorthorn cattle drew one of the largest crowds in years. Hogs topped at 132.50 for a Model Chief fall boar. six more sold above 100, with boars averaging 89 and sows about 70. Men in Country Bible Class Enjoy Social Evening
Last Thursday evening the Presbyterian church men’s Bible class gathered at Walter Donner’s northeast of town. About twenty-five members attended, sharing refreshments and a jolly social time that strengthened fellowship. incidents included a member fetched from work to join, another misrouting to a different party, and a member missing the gathering after preparations. Wreck Injures McPherron Family Near Tabor
Bert McPherron and his wife and son Ralph were injured when their Ford overturned on a road near Tabor Friday evening. Mr McPherron suffered a broken nose and shoulder, Mrs McPherron had both arms broken above the wrists, Ralph had one arm broken, while two young daughters escaped serious harm. Local physicians attended. an X ray was ordered to assess injuries.
