Henderson Juniors and Seniors Honored at Amick Home

A 7 30 dinner was held May 15 at the Amick home honoring Henderson high school juniors and seniors. Mrs Amick and two mothers prepared a meal including grape fruit julea smothered steak mashed potatoes green beans spring salad hot rolls vanilla ice cream with strawberriea and angel food cake. The evening featured social gathering and gift to the Juniors. Seniors presented Mrs Amick a vase in appreciation of her work.

Wesley Chapel Social and Memorial Gatherings Highlight May Activities

The Wesley Chapel community reports a May 14 meeting at Mrs. Ray Plumb’s home focusing on Christian Home influence. Plans include a May-June fund drive and a June 6 mother and daughter tea at the church. Memorial and graduation events feature Wesley Chapel seniors from Henderson and note visits from Ava Feeley and local families. Church services are scheduled for Memorial Day and the conference year ends June 8 at Des Moines First Church.
