May Breakfast Draws 50 at St Johns Ladies Aid Meeting
St Johns Ladies Aid met at the church on May 14 at 9 am with over 50 in attendance. Twenty five members and about 31 guests plus 9 children were present for the May Morning Breakfast. Central College grants BA to 240 seniors in May ceremony
Phyllis Axtell led Central College’s May 15 graduation as one of 240 seniors receiving Bachelor of Arts degrees. Daughter of Gordon and (Mrs) Axtell from rural Silver City, she joined the audience as Dean James W. Graham delivered the commencement address titled Reflections from a Slow Learner. Central College, affiliated with the Reformed Church, is a four year liberal arts college in Pella with international branch campuses.
