Friday, Carrier McCormick from Glenwood toured rural route 2 with the inspector pushing a countywide rural delivery plan. Henry Douglas bought 80 acres east of his home in Deer Creek township, boosting his farm to prominence.

Malvern Cemetery Trust Fund Seeks Donations from Public
Mrs Abigail Morrelstown of the county recently gave one hundred dollars to the Malvern Cemetery Association as a trust fund for caring for their lot and grounds. The Ladies Auxiliary Association is credited for much of the upkeep and fundraising. The Malvern Cemetery Association invites further contributions or bequests to sustain a permanent fund with interest used for grounds maintenance and support of workers. Trustees Wm I Rooney and A J Boston and secretary Jno D Paddock offer information.
