Mothers and many roles in family life feature notes
Scribblings reflecting on Mother's Day, gender roles, and labor in the home. The piece jokes about mothers needing space, contrasts women's and men's work, cites a Chase Manhattan Bank study on married women in the workforce, and ends with a rueful tale about a one way street mishap and a hopeful stance on liberation.
