The leader urges PTLY Leader subscribers to inform the subscription department of any address changes promptly. Under the new rates papers must pay postage due for address change notices from the post office. Relay delivery problems also arise, so sending changes in advance is advised.
The piece argues that a plan of commerce should be adopted by the country if war erupts in Europe. It recalls the distant memory of the last war when Many believed the nation would stay out until entry became likely. It warns that wartime impulse is contagious and a strong country resists entering conflict.

The program, part of United States Government Reports, will be nonpartisan and factual. Carrier stations include KRNT Des Moines KMA Shenandoah and WMT Waterloo.
