Malvern and Fremont Mills Girls Battle Across Spring Meet
The rivalry between Fremont Mills and Malvern girls remains fierce as track season unfolds. Sandra Hayes’s disqualification cost Malvern a possible one point win at the Squaw Valley Relays as Sandy and teammates like Carol Wolfe and Janet Jones dominate events. The community tightens around sportsmanship, pool debates, and a new Jock Stanley Redi-Mix plant, with water concerns resurging amid town developments.
