Mt Vernon Notes of Visits and Local News
Local notes recount Vinton Johnson finishing a home jet in Clarksville Arkansas and travel to Omaha for an Eppley Field flight, plus families from Pacific Junction attending the IML Music Festival and Jackie Hunter earning a superior rating with a trophy. The column lists church events, missionary Ruth Guida from Assam and visits by Wederquist, Mort, Stewart, Williams, and others, along with several funerals, showers, weddings, and family gatherings. A million dollar rain arrives, boosting farm work after a drought, with dandelions blooming and general gratitude.
