Tarkio Missouri hosts the Tri-State Track Meet at Tarkio College on Saturday March 30 with preliminaries at 9 am and finals at 2 pm. The event divides schools into Class A and Class B by enrollment and draws about 40 to 50 participating institutions.
The Bureau of Outdoor Recreation said Iowa will remain eligible through March 1971 for grants from the Land and Water Conservation Fund. Commission officials noted that eligibility began in 1968 after approving Iowa's outdoor recreation plan and that a revision kept funding chances alive.
