Mills County Drainage Petition and Board Actions 1916
Mills County Board of Supervisors in session approves a drainage petition from J. D. Robbins and others seeking to form a drainage district along the West Nishnabotna River to reclaim about 4000 acres in Anderson and Indian Creek Townships. A commissioner engineer is appointed to survey the proposed line, bond posted, and costs estimated. The board also conducts tax equalization adjustments for livestock and approves a long list of county bills. A primary election canvas follows with Republican and Democratic nominations for county and township offices and delegates. The adjournment sets June 20 1916 as the next meeting date.
