Mrs Cleta Salyers of Malvern joins about 300 teachers at Springbrook State Park Guthrie Center for a three week Teacher Conservation Camp from June 4 to June 24. The program, sponsored by Iowa Conservation Commission State College of Iowa and State Department of Public Instruction, features field trips led by state experts and travels roughly a thousand miles to study conservation topics. Salyers teaches vocational homemaking and general science at Malvern Community School.
