Carol Sue Perkins and Rodney Gayle Sowers wed in a double ring ceremony at Hastings United Methodist Church on Saturday June 7 at 7 p.m. Rev. David Nolte officiated. Alumnae and alumni of Tabor College and members of the Tabor Historical Society gathered June 15 at the Rev. John Todd House, once John Brown's Harpers Ferry arsenal, for a work day. They cleaned the house, mowed lawns, trimmed shrubs, and planned additional restoration. About 50 hours of labor were donated, with coffee and cookies served in the afternoon.
