Malvern News Expands Library Support and School Activity Plan
The Malvern Leader discusses library funding history from 1916 Carnegie support, notes per capita cost of about 1.25 dollars, and warns about county tax shifts. It covers a readers’ letter on the Trenderson library, praises library value, and contrasts Des Moines Register critiques. It also outlines a new Malvern schools plan: an activity ticket funding all student events, reducing fund raising and business solicitations, while ensuring efficient financing and community access.
