The Silver City High Alumni Banquet drew 105 attendees with Hawai’i themed decor and class representatives from 25, 50, and 55 years. New officers were elected: Sheldon Williams president, Bob Kruse vice president, Mrs. Marvin Goos secretary, and Mrs. Shirley Hendrix treasurer. Guests included Roy Flanagan, Deb urah Urd, Peggy Surgoin, Sharron Mass, Trudy Decker, Roberta Stewart, Bonnie Kruse, and visiting relatives from Omaha, Council Bluffs, River Sioux, Little Sioux, and Geneva. Mrs Joe McGargill and family spent Sunday in Omaha with relatives. Marilyn, daughter of Myr, and Mere Edw McGargill visited Dane hospital. Junie Whit underwent appendectomy and recovery at Mercy Hospital Council Bluffs. Miss Rose Hogers in Mercy Hospital Council Bluffs. Jesse Sorenson and family visited Council Bluffs relatives.
