Churches Hold Co operation Sale

At the Union Services last Sunday evening four churches expressed thanks to Mr Jeep for checks from the cooperative sales plan at the Variety Store. Returns were modest but other benefits were noted, including seventeen young people gaining store clerk experience.

Co operation Pays the Dairy Brand Creameries

Des Moines Iowa July 21 Reports to the Iowa Department of Agriculture show that in May State Brand Creameries paid patrons eight to ten cents more per pound for butterfat than counties without creameries. The department says cooperation pays and notes these creameries focus on high quality product rewarding farmers who supply quality cream.
