ASK INCREASED STORAGE ROOM ON FARMS
Cooperation of every farmer in Mills county is sought by J F P Wearin AAA chairman to add bin and crib storage for the 1941 crops. Nation wide grain carryover and CCC stocks strain storage. Mills county corn totals and AAA payment assignments enable financing for expanded storage with a wheat storage allowance and possible steel bin delays due to defense priorities.

Weathered farm notes report rain and crops prospects
The writer observes July days with water in creeks and ponds and no dry dirt digging. They foresee a good corn crop next tall and note rains elsewhere reducing risk of hot winds. Small grains disappointed but oats and straw for stock are needed. Government real estate loans have expanded to more counties this year, possibly extending to their own county.
