Fragmentary OCR notes report a July 4 picnic involving a group named Seerese and an expectation of activity by the 63ers. Details are unclear but imply a social gathering with plans or references to a team or group.
Bank reports its condition at close of business June 20 1960 with assets totaling 3 157 921 82 and liabilities 3 502 507 25. Capital accounts show common stock 50 000 and surplus and undivided profits totaling 273 331 37 with memoranda pledges and attestations by officers and directors as of July 1 1960.
Rites for Marie Paw were held with many relatives and friends attending from Chicago Minnesota and Idaho Falls. Funeral services were at MeKee Funeral Home with interment in Farm Creek cemetery near Henderson. Relatives from Malvern Macedonia Trail City Counes Blatts and other towns joined a large gathering for a yearly picnic at Fileworth Smith home.
Local residents and visitors attend picnics, church events, and family gatherings across Shenandoah, Red Oak, and nearby towns. Notes highlight trips to Omaha and Detroit Lake, visits from relatives, Fourth of July celebrations, and community meals at Viking Lake and garden parks.

Charlotte Warren joined the Gordon Perdue party on a Colorado Me vacation, as others hosted guests at the Hamilton Lewis home and near Missouri Valley.
Haloh Lewis Leora Cele and Cannig Leem with Cindy Evenon on piano sang at the Presbyterian Church in Carson Sunday morning. Visitors included Mr and Mrs Edwin Ambrose at the Guy Oxborn home Friday evening and Mr and Mrs Paul Armentrout and family from Eugene Oregon over two weeks. Various neighbors and relatives dropped by homes in Hed Oak Lewis and nearby, with picnics and Fourth of July fireworks observed at the park.
