Mr and Mrs A O Haldeman and Misa Alice Haldeman hosted dinner guests at the W L Smith home. Fourth Mise Tea Borene returned from New York with Miss Winnifred Nervic who taught in Malvern Schools last year. Marlin Slater was rushed to Edmundson hospital for an appendectomy and is recovering well. A L Greeson and Everett Barr families and others enjoyed a picnic dinner with Mrs Annie Harvey of Peskerille on the Fourth.

Josie Kerney and her mother and Marion Kerney of Peaceville traveled to Connell Binffe Friday to visit relatives Mr and Mrs Sem Shew and daughter Mrs Alton Alberts and two babies visited Hancock on Sunday July 1 and spent the day with daughter Mrs Jason Benseoter and family.
