Hog Catcher Benny Kling Faces Rural Iowa Fiascos

In Mills County, Marshal Benny Kling dealt with a wandering hog incident on Highway 34 injuring none but causing laughs as he wrestled a hog in a stock truck episode. With Paul Bell and Max Dashner, Kling subdued a hog that had climbed from Bell’s pickup, all part of his ongoing city hog catching exploits. Separate notes say 19 year olds drank quietly under Iowa’s new law, and Alison Boyd performed a rhythm tap and acrobatic dance lookalike act as election boards were set by the supervisors and county auditor ahead of the primary.
