Former Henderson Teacher Honored in California Church Record
Former Henderson resident and long time teacher Miss Bessie Hollingsworth Symons was celebrated in a San Pedro church paper for fifty years of church involvement. Since arriving in 1895 she has served in Home and Foreign Missionary Societies, Ladies Aid, WSCS, taught in the church school, and since 1943 has been Financial Secretary. Mrs Maxwell notes Hollingsworth Symons was also a Henderson teacher before marriage to William Symons.

WINS BIKE IN NATIONAL CONTEST
Mrs. Elmer Kadel won a bicycle in the Nutrona Dog Food contest. Only 60 bikes were given in this national contest.
