Malvern Orioles Face Hamburg After Corner Tourney Upsets

The Corner tourney saw Warragut, South Page, Essex, and Malvern win titles in past years while Farragut and Fremont-Mills dominated the girls’ side. Malvern’s strong defense limited Farragut’s top scorer Sherry Teachout, and Hamburg’s Jim Clayton stamped the boys’ finals with standout play. Malvern travels to Hamburg Friday seeking a win to halt Clayton’s form and gain momentum.
