About 600 Mills county farmers signed the 1964 USDA feed grain program, more than at a comparable time last year though 500 were enrolled then. Chairman Ren Burgoin says participants gain a diversion payment by reducing 1964 corn barley or grain sorghum acreage, plus a guaranteed price-support payment for acreage planted in 1944.
