Chemistry Demo: Breakage and Cleanup in Class
A chemistry demonstration at the school featured students breaking flasks and a beaker over a hot burner. The beaker shattered, releasing chlorine and causing one student to leave for air. The finale showed how to clean up the mess.

Mrs Vernon and Mrs William Barberry led February meeting with Junt Ws Girls in Tabor. Local demonstrations on sewing and hair care were presented by residents of Sidney J and Ta bor. Guests of Mr and Mrs Rich ard Bright hosted a midweek supper in Glenwood. A Tim my Blackman birthday party and a Shenandoah wedding at the Christian church linked Glenwood and Shenandoah families. New- home plans for Mr and Mrs Squires in Shenandoah, and a 26th wedding anniversary celebrated by Mr and Mrs Fieselman. Various visits include Kemp family in Magnolia, Haynie in Omaha, and Haney, Winters, and Winters clans in nearby towns. The Hillsdale and Tabor communities share social events from Valentine parties to school notices and attendance at a sectional tournament in Farragut.

Illness at Alberts and neighbors recall local gathering
Neighbors report Mrs. Ernest Alberts seriously ill with family illness spanning the Alberts household. In Fragrant Friday night gatherings, many families from Malvern and nearby areas attended the Malvern Fremont Milly sectional tournament viewing. Visitors continued at the Edmundson hospital with Mrs. Bell undergoing surgery, as get well wishes go out. Old man winter returns with north winds, colder temperatures and limited remaining snow.
