Emma Mallory Clites Obituary at Strahan Nebraska
Emma Mallory Clites was born in Battle Creek Nebraska in 1874 and died February 7 1933 at her Strahan Inwa home aged fifty eight. She married Frank Filtes December 23 at Madison Nebraska and had eight children, plus many grandchildren. Survived by sisters and a brother and a large extended family, she joined the Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints after marriage and remained active in faith until death. Funeral service was held at the Strahan Methodist church with burial in Emengon cemetery. Fragile health since October led to her passing, with neighbors and family noting her kindness and devotion.
