Malvern area residents attend events and visit merchants, with notes on subscriptions and local sales. Many entries mention Hillsdale Glenwood Hastings and Tab or, plus advertisements for new spring dresses hats undergarments and ambulance service.
A special meeting of the Masonic lodge is announced for Thursday evening. Work will proceed in the third degree and good attendance is desired. J Anderson and W M are noted attendees.
The Malvern Fire Department will celebrate its anniversary with a banquet at the Community building next Wednesday evening February 23. All members and their wives are cordially invited to attend.
Mr and Mrs J Wearthopta hosted thirty six guests at a seven oclock dinner last Wednesday evening. Valentine decorations matched the color scheme and menu. The evening featured Military Euchre with out of town guests Mr and Mrs Clyde Genung and Mr and Mrs Norm Genung of Glenwood.
Mrs Mary Durbin W M calls for Gandaly attendence and urges curial support at the meeting held Tuesday evening February 21 for the C B organization.
Last Friday a bridge luncheon and party was hosted at the home of Mrs Donner with Meademes J and C D Ale trope and W W Alatrope in attendance. A lively afternoon of play featured high scores and honors awarded to Mrs Leuter and Mrs BP Rian.
Valentine party given for Albert Nelewh on Friday afternoon. Attendees enjoyed games and visiting in a festive cotet scene. Mrs Nelson assisted with the entertainment and decor.
A lively dancing party hosted by Mr and Mrs Vette Watker at Hamovers hei drew Frank Herts and Harry Garihet plus guests. A festive Teh was served and valentine favors distributed. Attendees reported a very delightful time.
