The Malvern town council met on February 4 1946 with Mayor R W Mansfield presiding. Present were Councilmen Nelson Ower Steele and Piper. absent Art Erly. Bills were approved for payment across General Water and Maintenance funds. The mayor appointed F A Mulholland as library trustee to fill an unexpired term ending July 1 1961. The meeting adjourned with town clerk Woodford R Byington recording the actions.
