World Day of Prayer Services at Champion Hill Feb 21
Two special services marked World Day of Prayer at Champion Hill church with cooperation from Emeraga churches. Rev Theodore Epp of Back to the Bible in Lincoln Neb will lead the afternoon program at 2 pm and evangelistic services at 7 30 pm. All Emerson and Champion Hill residents invited to attend both events.

Services Held for Mrs Gertrude Lang at Emerson
Funeral services were held at the Emerson Methodist church for Nettie Gertrude Brown Lang who died February 4 at her son’s Creston home. Born April 23 1885 near Logan she married Charles D Lang in 1907 and farmed near Emerson. Surviving are four children, four brothers, five sisters and ten grandchildren. The Emerson Woman's Relief Corps and local clubs held meetings and plans noted for Lincoln and Washington anniversaries and World Day of Prayer.
