Last Stand First Consideration in Warm Season Grasses

Bob Loudon of the Soil Conservation Service outlines steps to establish warm season grasses for summer pastures. Plant on a firm weed free seedbed, fertilize with phosphorus and potassium, apply lime to pH 6.0 to 6.2, plant in spring, and avoid nitrogen in the establishment year.
