Even He Admits It Becomes Confusing

Justice of Peace John Hall handled a string of cases centering on Iowa reciprocity cards for drivers. Charles Trivelpiece of Hamburg faces a charge for lacking the card while operating his truck, though his official mailing address sits in an Iowa town while he actually resides on a Missouri River island now part of Nemaha county Nebraska. The route home from Hamburg requires crossing three states, Iowa Missouri and Nebraska, adding to the confusion. Cecil Boyd of Miller Missouri faced a no card charge for hauling swamp rat meat dressed for mink farms. Several others received fines and costs for no reciprocity or overload charges, including Jake Pierce in Arkansas, Harold Petty in Willisea, Kenneth Wolverton in Magadore, Allen Myner in Fergus Falls, John Pitzer in Glenwood, Harold Harkins in Cummings, Paul Yager in Dade City, and Sterling Schurr in Red Oak.
