Roure Attends GOP Convention and Aids Traveler

Dr. Rafael Roure of Glenwood attended the Republican National Convention in Miami as an Iowa alternate delegate. The trip included encounters with demonstrators, a tire slash incident, and a life saving heart massage on a traveler at St. Louis airport. Dr. Roure praised local medical services, met Tricia Nixon Cox, rode a boat cruise with Gov. Ray, and noted broad convention representation across ages and groups. A mistaken newspaper age quote amused him.
