Local social notes fill Omaha area with visits and travel
A long list of weekend guests and family visits across Glenwood, Clarinda, Shenandoah, and surrounding towns highlights a busy social scene. Family members from Des Moines, Des Moines and Council Bluffs travel, attend weddings, and visit relatives in Omaha, with trips to Beaver, Mitchell, and surrounding farms noted. Several residents plan trips to Des Moines for fairs and hospital visits, while others prepare for school and community events as Labor Day approaches.
Kindergarten Start Noted With Local Attendees
Leanna Sayers and Brenda Stork begin Kindergarten on Monday morning. Mr and Mrs Guy Grindley and grandson Darren Swett of Omaha attended the Forney family reunion last Sunday at Thurman. The visit included time with the Floyd Bowen family. Miss Laurie Duysen of Macedonia joined the gathering for the week.
