Joint Worship Services in August at Malvern

Malvern and Strahan churches plan joint services August 10 and 17 at Malvern United Methodist Church. Rev Lloyd Bedsworth, Baptist pastor, will lead both services with a gospel music program on August 17. Sunday school at the Baptist church remains at 10 a.m., and all will gather at the Methodist church from 11 to 12 for worship.

Alfreda Smith baked cookies for the fair at Linda Barber's house Saturday. A church service by the Christian church from Tabor was held Sunday. Residents prepared craft, garden produce, and baking entries for the fair.
