A new Monday evening entertainment program replaced the barbecue featuring the Missouri Opry’s Bartles Family, hampered by outdoor sound. Tuesday hosted a popular professional rassline event promoted by Joe Duseki. Rain later caused mud but did not halt events. Exhibits remain strong, 4 H youths and floriculture displays draw crowds, and a new all metal office and food stand building provides permanent fair headquarters for Hillsdale ladies and Extension office staff.
