Mills County Adopts Land Access Rules and Lot Exemption
Mills County Board of Supervisors approved two resolutions on land use. One adopts subdivision rules published in the Leader. The second creates access rules for Mills County Secondary Roads, detailing design and construction by the county or its agent, cost borne by the applicant, and county liability after completion. Access on roads is restricted when three or more lots front a county road, except large five acre parcels with frontage over five hundred feet may access directly. Frontage roads require engineer approval and must follow subdivision law.
