Guests included families from Carson Tabor Red Oak Malvern and Council Bluffs, with travel to Mesa Arizona photos from a winter gathering.
Henderson Alumni officers met Wednesday night to appoint committees for the annual banquet set for May 26 in the auditorium. Supported groups include Correspondence, Program, Decorating, Welcoming and Nominating, Arrangements, and Dishes with named members. Mrs. Morris Harbor hosted the Just We Neighbors club on Wednesday night with nine present. Mrs. Dean Freeman and Mrs. Harvey Smith of Emerson traveled to Ames Monday with Dale Miller of Macedonia to attend the funeral of Mrs. Abe Miller, a sister-in-law to Mrs. Freeman and Mrs. Smith.
Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton Lewin and family hosted Sunday dinner at their Oakland home with Darrell and Randy. J W Castor visited the Guy Osborn home Saturday evening. Evelyn Warren and Jew ell attended Sunday lunch with L E Brammeier. Robert Hicka and Bob plus Fred Lemons and Jerry joined an athletic banquet at Emerson Friday. Rural homemakers met at the Farm Bureau building in Red Oak Friday with several listed hosts.
Irwin Eleson pastors CAKS Community Church with J W Castor as superintendent of Sunday School. Services at 11 am, Sunday School at 10 am, choir practice Thursday evenings. Young People meet first and third Sundays. film night planned for April 36 with Preacher's Kids. Visitors 1, offering 16 65. Script readings John 8 26 20 and Galatians 5 1 13. Local residents host and attend various gatherings. Osborns and Grinsteds visited Emerson and Red Oak families. Mystery Circle plans forts and prayers mark meetings. East Bible Study met at Carleton Davidson home. Wills prepares for three year Air Force term in France. Several Sunday visits occur in Omaha Clarinda and nearby homes as families host guests and attend demonstrations.
