High School Program and Backward Themed Operetta
The Malvern High School staged a backward operetta on April 27 with seniors and Miss Nickals organizing a backward meal and greetings. Other events included the Simpson Glen Club’s visit, a Tom Thumb wedding produced by Miss Gertrude Wood, and grades highlighting first grade garden projects, weights, and measures while the high school orchestra performed On the Wing March Humoresque and Call Me Back. The Latin department planned a wedding play with Roman costumes and a 25 cent admission, featuring Jean Beattie Donald Vatre and others in a humorous yet educational production.
