News from Emerson advises readers of midweek church events at the Methra Church led by Rev Clare A Been. A church supper occurs April 17 at 2 24 and a monthly fellowship night on April 14 with plans to present Holy Week scenes in pictures. The operetta The Wedding of the Flowery is set for gym night April 22. The girls sextet and Annabelle Lang earned a top rating at the Hed Oak prelims and advance to the Atlantic state contest April 26-27. other entrants received a second rating. Lee Honeyman rents Mrs Cappares home. Supt Frank Shaw reports one room being kept.

The wedding of Snyder and Honeyman took place in Des Moines with a satin gown, white lilies, and floral arrangements. Approximately 266 guests attended from Emerron and nearby, including Warren Honeyman and Merrill Warren families. Erie Cor left Tuesday for the east coast. From there heavy was April 12 for England to vieig his parente. Mr Emma felliccion from California visited this week with her son L C Bollington and family. Mr and Mrs J V Parker visited Mr and Mrs F M Parker and Mary Mas Sunday evening. Mr and Mrs Richard McQueen Jerry and Jon were supper guests of Mr and Mrs Harold Cooper and family last Tuesday evening. Mr and Mrs E B Berryhill and Geraldine visited daily with the former's mother and other relatives in Gresham Nebraska. Mr and Mrs Ralph Viner and Judy visited Mr and Mrs Harold Cooper and family Sunday evening. A group from Grace Bible Institute in Omaha led worship Sunday morning. They served a pot luck dinner at noon. In the evening the Omaha group also with Eric Cox Florence and Wilma Cooper were guests in the Dean McLain home.
