Logans Buy Hotel and Cafe Consolidate Dining Businesses

Cadillac Booze Spillage Case Overruled in Iowa
In Clarinda Iowa April 9 the Cadillac car tied to a booze party near Norwith last winter remains in county custody after Judge Shelby Cullison’s district court ruling. The Cadillac company of Omaha will keep possession until trials in May. Three Fremont county cars stay held by the same order.

Trustees Meet at Ames Over Camp for 600 Men
Trustees of the Presbyterian Synod of Iowa attended a meeting in Ames where grounds were laid off for a cantonment to house 600 men for the Agricultural School. The camp will be on campus south of the gymnasium and the men will be trained in auto and track work under government orders. Prominent state leaders believe the Ames Agricultural School will become the nation’s leading agricultural institution.
