Easter Guests and Local Family Gatherings Across Emerson
Mrs. Ira Bell spent Tuesday in Emerson with her parents and joined Easter celebrations for Mrs. Huntsman's 72nd birthday. Dozens of relatives from Cedar Rapids to Glenwood visited, shared ice cream and cake, and attended cooperative dinners. The record notes shifting spring weather with frosty mornings, then sun and mild afternoons through the Easter period.
