New La Marque Bus Depot Improves Image For Riders
Texas Bus Lines revamped the La Marque depot moving from a rundown former beer hall to a bright, clean facility on 1st Street near City Hall. Station manager Jim Gammage says the remodeled space features new paint, travel posters, no smoking, weekend crowds, and a link to Houston Galveston routes with five daily buses. Local residents note doubled business since the changes and praise the safety and comfort for travelers including seniors and students.
