Program offered for pregnant students in TCISD
Texas City Independent School District runs a Danforth Campus program for pregnant students to complete academic courses while receiving a Parenthood preparation course. The program, led by Dixie Bridges, aims to help students return to mainstream classes after birth and to assume responsibility, with high school students taking 38 subjects in a four course per year setup.
