Membership drive ends with party in Texas City
The Texas City La Marque Chamber of Commerce wrap party closed the Big Drive membership round-up hosted by Texas City National Bank and Texas New Mexico Power. Trail bosses Ralph Holm and Thad Buster led teams to recruit new members, with many businesses joining in the drive's first week. A Rise and Shine breakfast featuring Der Mouzon Biggs is planned for Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. at the Holiday Inn La Marque, with tickets $7. The latest entries, awards, and future lunch events are outlined, including a September luncheon with Ron Franklin discussing Southwest Conference Football. A ribbon cutting for the School Store at Mainland Plaza is set for Aug 21.
