Prineville Might Win a Railroad Link Says Amin
Amin arrived from The Dalles at the request of Porter Bros. to work for the Pottera in Crooked River Valley and says the route would run from Madras to Burns then to Lakeview and San Francisco. He asserts Prineville will get a railroad, though no surveyors have staked land yet. The town buzzes as Hill plans south of Bend and could map the line to Burns once crews form. If true, Prineville will learn in a week as engineers gather.
