In Decatur Indiana on September 7 Warren Wilson aged 11 was seriously injured when a heavy dinner bell swung from a 10 foot pole and struck his head. He suffered a skull fracture and scalp wound and remains in bed. His brother Harold witnessed the accident. Two months earlier Warren broke his arm after a fall from hay.
