Death of Mrs Mary Smith reported in Birmingham
Former Madisonian Peter Graley received a telegram from W S Smith announcing the death of his sister Mary in Birmingham Alabama at 11 yesterday morning. The body with relatives will arrive in Madison on the noon train Tuesday. Burial follows a service at St Michael's church and interment in Springdale Cemetery. She was a daughter of the late Ned Smith and is survived by her mother and five brothers. The family formerly lived at First and Depot streets in Madison.
