New York designer Tasipkyston Platt is creating thousands of costumes for Columbus Ohio Centenary pageants running June 2 to January 10. The range spans ancient Babylonian and Jewish captivity attire to Belgian refugee wear, with 70000 yards of fabric ordered. Platt researched authentic historical garments and also prepared images of Japanese Chinese and Hindu garb for the production.
