U.S. Department of Agriculture Weather Bureau reports colder conditions tonight in Indianapolis with fair weather continuing into Saturday. Cold air mass moving in, light winds, high pressure settling over region. Overnight low expected near several degrees below normal.
Hanover residents and neighbors recall Mr. Forsyth of Indianapolis who spent the summer sketching around Logan's Point. An Indianapolis Sentinel notice reports an exhibition at his Mindrs and Market streets studio showing eight new oil paintings and eight watercolors. The oil titled A Summer Afternoon shows a hillside view to the Ohio River near Madison with trees, wall, and river beyond. At the Spring includes a solitary figure.

A Georgia wedding night tragedy reports August Schrader and his wife died from copperhead and rattlesnake bites in a Cherokee County cabin near Shual Creek. Fire heat drove the hibernating snakes from a cavern behind the bluff into the cabin, where the couple and an elder Schrader were attacked.
