Dolph Bank and Olson finalize terms of a seven deal as the parties seek closure on a pending agreement. Negotiations reached a landmark stage with details awaiting formal signing.
State Bank announced a settlement plan with Olson to discharge debts. The arrangement involves cash notes and a $75,000 personal loan, secured by land in North Dakota and supported by Switzer and Palda. Bardolph Bank plans reorganizing with $35,000 stock already subscribed to fund the plan.
The Bushnell Pump company files suit in the circuit court against A. R. Maddox seeking $1000 in damages. The declaration alleges money advanced and goods sold to the defendant. Case docketed for the March term.
Samuel Iddings, facing removal after being deemed usurper by Circuit Judge Lindley, re occupies Atlanta mayoral seat while Dreher is ruled unqualified. World famous men will speak at the bar association gatherings. In court, Geo A Reed of Prairie City was declared feeble minded and J W Wilson appointed conservator to care for him at home. Reed is about 80 and quite frail.
A local prep basketball standout from Knox College is believed to have recovered from a fall that sidelined him. He previously earned a varsity letter at the school and was praised for a swift pass and brave play. The incident occurred in the afternoon when a shipment of assets was discussed by the superintendent.

Frederick Robert Robertson, eight, son of Seth A. and Mrs. Robertson of Havana, Illinois, died in Peoria on November 30 after a nosebleed led to internal hemorrhage. Three physicians could not halt the bleeding as his father held vigil near the bedside.
J W Workman of Maxwell Illinois wins the 1921 corn king title at the International Hay and Grain Show in Chicago. He takes the grand championship with a ten car exhibit, marking Illinois first to gain the capital prize and overall honor.

In Peoria a federal court named Charles Peek trustee for the Roy Griffith property after a hearing revealed assets near 1,200 dollars against liabilities around 3,600 dollars.
