Frank Clugston of the Garrison garage reported a valuable suit of clothes stolen last summer during a visit by the Macomb baseball team to Industry. His bank book was in the suit and later returned, bearing a Hereford Texas postmark. The thief’s identity remains unknown, and speculation grows about why he left Macomb.

The South McArthur bridge recently installed by Harry Holmes is now open for traffic. Grading on both sides of the new concrete structure has been completed by Street Superintendent Gilfry, who hopes to have it in first class shape when weather permits.
